PROBLEM>>>
I purchased Pico8 for Windows and Raspberry Pi. I am having trouble getting my Powkiddy Q36 mini to run the Raspberry Pi version of Pico8.

WHAT I'VE TRIED>>>
It shows up in the Gmenu2x Launcher but just returns a 'can't execute this file' error. Any help is appreciated.

Thank you for your time and have a great day!

Might be better to ask the hardware community

I'll try that. Thanks.

compatibility with the raspi build of pico8 is determined by the architecture of the processor (ARM for your device) but also some specific extensions and the presence of some system libraries. without access to a terminal, it’s hard to check for things and to see detailed error messages!

some ideas:
can you check that the program has the executable bit? (chmod +x pico8 if you have access to a raspbian or linux machine)
which executable are you using (pico8 or pico8_dyn or pico8_64)?
can you run the file program and compare what it tells you for an executable already installed and working on your SD card vs pico8?

if you followed a guide, can you share its link here?

Thank you for the reply. I found my answer in a post someone else made called "Pico-8 for the FunKey S?" on this site. The Powkiddy Q36a (mini) is a clone of the Funkey S but with a different shell (slightly larger and buttons are more comfortable). The consensus I gathered from it was it won't work on my Q36a. I appreciate the help! I have my eye on the Powkiddy RGB30 now! Looks very promising!
