Just curious: why do you call it a roguelike? Are the waves randomly generated? And maybe I was playing it wrong, but my experience was far from an autobattler - I definitely had to put in effort to dodge all the attacks, especially in the late game haha

Anyway, really enjoyed it! Keep up the good work!

@MisterWizard01 yeah, the waves are procedurally generated, I call it autobattler bc the attacks are automatic, so It's like vampire survivors

Interesting use of the tutorial @Krystman of Lazy Devs Academy is doing on youtube.
There is a game jam on itch.io to showcase the games based on the tutorial. You could post your game there as well.
Your game is fun to play. I reach level 15 a couple of times.

I thought it's another clone of Cherry Bomb, but it turns out it's different. Well, there are still some similarities though.

That being said, I like having ship choice and powerup choice. Really helpful.

I really have to edit my post cause when replaying with other ships, some ships give totally different experience and playstyle. Powerup choices become essential not just to upgrade your ship but to compensate those ships weaknesses.

One thing I would wanna suggest adding is item descriptions, so players can see what each one does, so you don’t have to guess.
