please continue work on this! i was just this morning thinking about updating this great little game. those neon 3d vizuals were great, be cool if you oculd somehow get that glowy sensation in here and work on the sound effects a bit. id be happy to help as i too loved sky attack as a youth

Nice ! Not necessary but adding SFX would definitely make it better. Superb ! Also do the bad guys ever shoot back ?

Makes me think of LCD because of the superbly stilted graphics but it's in bright colors with a black background so it's like a miniature backlit handheld console.
