This is an interesting flash game which could be a distant cousin of CC. Blocks of the same colour stick together, but the player controls all of them simultaneously with the cursors keys. The level is completed when all blocks of the same colour are connected. Looks like fun, but the difficulty ramps up way too slowly and there's no way to jump ahead ):

Interesting idea. I absolutely agree that the difficulty increases veeery slowly, if at all. And it doesn't allow fast keystrokes. And it's not nearly as fun as CC :)

Although I've never actually played it myself, I'm pretty sure this is the same game which was released commercailly several years ago as "Denki Blocks", for both Game Boy Colour and Advance I think. Looking at @, they now seem to focus entirely on making pay-per-play games for Sky Digital.

I was wondering if Denki Blocks had the same rules. I see now that a few people pointed it out at jayisgames. It's always nice to acknowledge the original.
