This is my first game for pico 8, so it's pretty messy under the hood. It's a little game about collecting trophies on an endlessly scrolling mountain, try not to hit anything!

That’s fun even if I’m not very good!

Could we get an option (maybe with the up arrow) to have the character push themselves up? Otherwise I get stuck on trees with no way to continue.

Thanks for the feedback! going uphill would break some things, but I added "slippy physics" so that if you hit something you should slip along it without getting stuck, hope it's a bit more playable now!

The game has alot of charm. I really enjoy the trail in the snow and how objects/creatures react to getting bumped into.

The controls feel good but the max speed feels a bit slow or I might be impatient. I think a ramp that could boost you or a mechanic where you get speed when you barely slide pass an object without hitting it could help.
First time I played it I thought there were too many objects, little space to breathe. But after a couple of games I found out that I was wrong. There's some free space between every obstacle section and the part with penguins near ponds isn't a huge mess, it just forces u to go down in a straight line, not diagonally like in other obstacle sections.

Overall, you made a good game.

Thanks for playing! I added a "crouch" mechanic so you can increase your top speed, I think it gets a bit hard to maneuver at higher speeds, but I like the challenge!

I really enjoy this game I just wish you had something to aim for with a score screen at the end that tells you how quickly you got all the trophies, how many obstacles you hit etc. As soon as I finished it the first time I wanted to go straight back in. I think it would add loads of replay value to add something like that.

Thanks! pretty slick now

thanks @extar, I think this is the last real change I'll make, but I added a couple little stats to the end and an extra reward!

I like this a lot, so I've made a let's play/review of the game. Great stuff!
