Great level, I really enjoyed all the new stuff. I'm curious as to why you didn't include it as another 'Adventure Mode' campaign since this seems like an official content release. It'd be a shame for it to get buried in the BBS Levels archive where no one will see it.
I could learn alot about how to make interesting levels from this!
Also as a little wondering as I tried it in the Lamia's Adventure the Pot with the dragon fight did my level slightly inspire that? probably not but I did like how the fight was more refined than mine! :P
Mainly because I ran out of time to change the interface! There's another demo level + arcade mode in the works though, so I'll make a new levels menu to package them along with Twisty. It will also a good way to show new players that the adventure mode is just a demo level and not the actual finished game.
I just tried Lamia's Adventure again. That room is nasty! I didn't have it in mind, although both lava pot rooms are similar. To be honest, after digesting most of the BBS levels I think a lot of the design I'm doing is influenced by mashed up bits and pieces, even if not in a direct obvious way.
In the room with 3 keys over abyss, you can pick the center key up and shoot the remaining two keys into abyss. Apparently pushing a key into the chasm uses the key and a piece of bridge is raised. This works best with the "wizard" and allows you to skip 90% of the level. Actually if you're persistent you can also pass the gate without pressing the switch, just carve a "ladder" in the wall surface and jump over it.
I love the elephant ! The sound is perfect, he's varied and dangerous.
I'm very impressed by the Line of Sight feature in one room, if it's not scripted then you're exceeding my expectations.
It seems items can now fall from the sky ! Nice.
