  1. If you are close enough, you can shoot through an indestructible wall:

  2. Less surprisingly, this also works with sword:

There is a workaround - make walls thicker... but this just pushes the burden on level creator. And we know many authors will not test properly (or at all).

  1. Barrels can PERMANENTLY DAMAGE indestructible walls ! Look closely for small holes:

You can post images straight on the forums using the [img] tags. (Sorry for being off-topic.)

Fixed, cheers.

1 was happening for diagonal shots because of some wonky math

2 was some unfinished code. I adjusted the sword to use a similar to method to guns --tracing a path from the center of the character to the starting position of the bullet to check for obstructions. I think I can improve the sword by also stopping mid-swipe if that happens so that indestructible walls feel more solid. (there should really be a good CLANK sound for this)

These images are maybe too large to insert straight into the page, but for anyone who's interested, you can also include a width and height parameters.. [img 640,480]

No, I just didn't know I can insert pictures directly. Thanks to Number1KirbyFan for that.

Have you also fixed this for monsters ? I placed a few red grunts around an indestructible cage 1 voxel thin, and if you stick your hands into cage monsters can hit you. It's a much smaller problem, but perhaps it's easy to fix.
