This was my entry to MovieGameJam 2018. Made in 10 days.

You need to guide Gruber as he falls and collect as many coins/money as you can whilst avoiding the flaming windows.

Controls:
Left and Right arrows - Move Gruber
X - Menu Confirm/Skip Cutscenes
Z - Menu Change Rating (R/PG-13)

Scoring points:
Coins - 10 points
Notes - 50 points
Limo - 100 points
Fire - minus 100 points

Bonus features:
You can activate PG-13 mode from the title screen which removes the profanity and violence (but why would you want to do that?)

Tips:
As coins spin they become smaller and therefore harder to collect so try and grab them when they are front facing.
When you pass through the cloud layer you have reached the half way point of your free-fall.
An alert will sound when you are approaching the ground so be ready to hit the Limo for those crucial bonus points.

Heh, the beginning of the theme reminds me of an electronic toy I used to have called Merlin that could do games like tic-tac-toe and you could enter tunes into. One of the examples was Ode to Joy and it sounded just like the intro. Your version progresses with much more finesse though. ;)

Edit: omg, sometimes youtube is amazing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UjqS30DEXGo&t=334

Great little game, by the way. Not many things make me happier than my many, many memories of the story in Nakatomi Plaza.

Bah ha ha! Way to turn the scrolling fall concept into something really different (and ghastly!)!

A pretty short, simple game. I like how Hans turns red when he passes over a flame :)

Felice - Thanks. Well done for remembering the Merlin toy thing, and even better that you managed to find the exact tune in video form :D I have to say originally I was going to have Ode to Joy note for note (which you can hear a little of in the intro) but it felt too slow and didn't match what was happening on screen. Then I got a bit carried away haha but it turned out pretty interesting.

Vectorguy - Thanks for your comments. The ground impact is a little ghastly but the PG-13 version gets around that :P The red flash when you pass the flames was a last minute change I added before the game jam submission as it was hard to tell when you were losing points. Still a few tweaks to make to it but it definitely helped.

Glad you both enjoyed playing it.

Love this! Short but sweet! Nice attention to detail and plenty of humor.

chowyunbrent - thanks for playing, glad you had fun with it. I have some updates in the works so hopefully I'll have a version 2 soon which will address some of the feedback I have received

This is so much fun. Short and sweet, yes, but kept me playing for a while trying to get more points. The simplicity works...well done.

Short, but very nice :)

morningtoast and reviews - thanks for playing! It is very much a "quick fix" game with a generous sprinkling of Die Hard :D Glad you had fun trying to beat your scores though.
