Tiny Escape!
An endless escape from the deadly roof

Hi!
you are a poor pixel imprisoned in a tiny dungeon, and you only have the hope that there's a light at the end of the tunnel, if there's one..
Turn on the tv ( pause/ turn on )
Start with X/O
Move left/ right to jump into the holes on the floor, don't reach the roof!

This is my first game. I'd like to thank TRANSEVOL_DOG for the opportunity to make a very simple game with some things already written. it was challenging and funny, and made me more confident on making games.
I know that my code is pretty bad written, i'm not against critics or hints because i think that someting can always be learned, so if you have suggestions don't hesitate!

NICE. You did a great job with this little escape game. The ramp-up to a hectic escape felt just about right. Well done.

@nephilim Thank you! it means a lot for me, as i had some doubts on how fast it had to accelerate in order to not tire the player.
Thank you again!

THAT WAS AWESOME! The noise at the end blew my ass off. For such a simple game it has a surprising amount of Zone to it.

The speed ramp up from very slow to max in a snap!
Also I could keep up at max speed without any issues by mindlessly going left and right until boredom took place... :P
Apart of that it's a fun little game for a few mins. =)

PS: For a 1st game it's a quite good job!

@Scathe thank you!
@JustBurner yeah i didn't want to bore the player in a too slow speed increase, after all it's a tiny game ( with a pretty old concept ahah)
Maybe when the jam is finished i'll rewrite the speed logic to remove the max speed, effectively with a pc keyboard i noticed that it was simpler than on the pocketchip that i used to develop :)
Thank you !

I appreciate the way that the speed picks up quickly. I'm a huge fan of simple games like this or things you'd see in Game and Watch Gallery. One issue with those is that it usually takes a while for the speed to get to a challenging level.

Nice job on the model, too! I was thinking it might be a dungeon crawl or something.

Regarding the model i decided to get inspired by the first prince of persia (in which effectively you had to run against time) , in fact there are the stones , torch and skull of the first levels:)
Thank you !

Fun game! I included it in my compilation video series of the Tiny TV Jam games, if you’d like to take a look :)
