Last update : made a better lamp in front of the bike
Here is my first Pico 8 game, it's a "physic" bike game, a bit like the "Trials" series. I tried some experimental "distance field" collision and it work prety well.
- 7 levels of increassing difficulty
- 15 collectibles per levels
- Time clock for speedruns
- Deathless is possible
- Deathless with all collectibles is possible but is insanely difficult
Controls :
up = gas
down = brake
left-right = rotate the bike
c to flip bike
v to retry
Old versions :

I love physics games, and this certainly doesn't disappoint! The physics are spot on, and the speed is great! As impbox said though, the controls are a bit poor. I would suggest having z and x be brake and gas, and using the left and right keys to rotate the bike in the air.

I uploaded an update following your great feedbacks. Now you use left-right to rotate and up down to gas/brake. It feel better I think. I wanted to keep a button to switch the bike and quick restart. I added a lot of comment in the code to make thing clearer.
Now I need to make levels, I think I can squeeze 4 to 5 levels in the cartridge.

The spirit of one-upmanship is strong in the PICO-8 forums. It was only a matter of time before we got a retro version of a cool physics game. I LOVE IT. It's really difficult to complete it with all the pickups, or to speedrun it, but I love it.

Wow, this is amazing! I wanna say the dying jingle is a tad too long and gets a little irritating when hearing it over and over. The winning jingle could also sound a bit cooler, though I don't wanna come off patronizing. If you think it's cool, it's cool.

Well, you are right Pizza, but you can use the restart button to avoid hearing the dying jingle until the end. I tryed making a better music for the end but the sound editor is very hard to use, specialy with non-qwerty keyboard. I need to look at some other carts to learn more about music in Pico.

Ah, my bad. I hit that other key once on accident but didn't realize that was the proper restart button. If you'd like some help with the audio feel free to contact me. I also have a non-qwerty keyboard. It helps to switch to EN with shift+alt for working with pico8.

Kinda hard to control, but this is like action supercross, quite cool to play!
