Snippo
Swim through a river filled with snacks, but watch out not to bump your head.
This game has a fairly unique control scheme: move left and right with the arrow keys to move forward.
This is my second submission to the 1k jam 2025.
If there is enough interest, I might make a post-jam that adresses some issues due to the limitations, as well as expands on the idea.

Very smooth and hypnotic movement, and very interesting coupling of movement and risk/reward! I'll keep coming back to this.
I got 495 meters, but only by ignoring the food (only 9 snacks eaten) and cheesing it a bit (quickly tapping left/right).
Very attractive label art! It fits the game too. The level got a little cramped after a while, until I found out about Snippo's anatomy.

It's actually a roundsnouted waterdragon. Snippo is just it's first name.
And also the trick is defenetly going slow. I did think about adding something to make keeping speed necessary, but didn't have the space.
@skipperd Yes the collision is very forgiving.
Though I would have never thought navigating spaces that tight would be possible. Congrats on that monster score.
Also at the moment there isn't an absulute guarantee you'll always have a clear path when you get well into the game.
If I ever end up making a post-jam version I'll adress the issues the current version has.
