Puzzle game- cultivate a garden and feed the demon!
Controls:
Arrow keys to navigate
Z - select menu/uproot plant
X - exit menu
Feed the demon the right kinds of plants to increase the time limit!
You lose when time runs out!
very nice! maybe add some eyes to the demon? and maybe have a easy mode where you have more time?
I love the opening music and sprite art in this game.
I was trying it again, I got decently far (129pts) but like I lost cause I didn't get the last turnip seed in time, should've I tried to throw away my apples from my inventory sooner? I made a few miss plays collecting the turnip once manually but even then it didn't seem like I had enough turns anyways.. are the items you get truely random so is it just uncompletable sometimes?
(Though I think I learned the brickfruit or whatever isn't counted as a crop for the pig's herb... I think so I guess that was a miss play too I could learn from.)
(PS: scratch the brick fruit thing I said must've missed something. see that the turnups are actually just the key. very cool gimmick I like this a lot)
Actually double scratch the brick fruit thing, not sure why it doesn't work with the pig snout only sometimes. also there was a weird thing where the footies at one point were just walking through my line of apples? idk After you get past the difficulty spike and figure the game out becomes really easy but still was really fun. I got 2049 points before suiciding.
