Floeste

The terrain has shifted, flora has grown, music has changed a new Mountain awaits to be overcome.
Jeff Walter have been trying for ages now, and yet you will pass him on your journey.

This mod includes:

• New Levels
• lemons?
• New Music
• New Character?
• New Madeline
• New Tiles
• New plants
• New clouds
• Better Transitions
• Secret Ending?
• Gemskip
• overall improved art

• You will need advanced tech ( check out Labeste for help )
• Some levels are very easy and are meant to be a break, same with the lemons
• Slmost every level doesnt have a straightforward solution, but rather multiple possible ways
• 3 endings
  • one with gemskip
  • one with under 10 deaths
  • one with under 10 deaths and gemskip
• I used up all the possible space in the 2 pages I had

great mod! i don't even know how i finished.

i like the balance between needing speedtech and regular levels. also, what does the ball count mean? next to the lemons

but overall the mod is so good its not easy and not deadly hard , and the tech it required are clever it made me replay the level so many times so i can figure it out , but now im so curious about the secret endings tho i cant reach them with my 170+ deaths ;-;

Cool mod. It's creative while only modifying vanilla levels and has a good amount of difficulty.

This is how far i got i didnt even get to see the second hair ccolor. also how do i change the hair color in the code?

@WoopyBoiii The code that sets the hair color is on line 357, using the function set_hair_color(). Mess with the values on that line of code until you're satisfied with the result. By the way, the numbers reference Pico-8's color palette. https://pico-8.fandom.com/wiki/Palette

@StrongSand94191 thanks this will be a great addition to hardeste and imma mess with more stuff to hopefully make it a bit harder :)

Tried to get up with gemskip...

But then I couldn't figure out how to go up the 2700m here.

EDIT: got stuck 20 minutes before crawling up the spike walls, but for following 20 more minutes, actually mad at how even go up with only one crystal...

@thePixelXb_ have you tried cornerboosting, dashing up and getting the crystal, and then stalling until the crystal respawns to dash up while inside it to save a dash? sorry if that was confusing

The crystal is an easy reach within a grace jump (or a walljump down), dash and walljump, but for the rest it's hard to dash that high even with the crystal just respawns.

Doubt if another corner boost required on the top.

This is such a great mod!
Love this level of challenge, perfect for me because of the bridge between speedtech and normal play.
Lots of fun, great level design, and amazing textures!

@thePixel_xb btw, on 2700, you just need to dash into the crystal, wait for it to respawn, and dash upward twice starting for the very tippity top of the crystal. Worked for me, hope it works for you.

Sorry that I was so inactiv recently.

so i'm guessing you used the online celeste level editor to make this. try using evercore next time

The second part, after getting the gem, was much easier. For the first part I didn't even notice that the mod is remixed celeste maps in order. Missed one berry (lemon?) on my first winning run, but I did get this shady save.

Bro the ending just makes the flag yellow this took me WAY to long 😭😭😭😭😭😭 Please tell me the other ending does something more cause im not about be spending hours for a differently colored flag for the last ending
