Very polished game. For a while I did find it challenging to complete, now I see how many coins I can finish with on each difficulty level.
For people having a lot of trouble even on Easy mode, you did find that you can upgrade existing towers?
When you do upgrade a tower, watch closely at how it attacks, the three tower types do different things.
For people playing for maximum gold,
Are you finding any use for the red towers? In all examples I have tested, green towers deal more damage for the money spent on them.
Blue towers definitely are useful as support to keep creeps in range of the green towers for longer.
Although I have completed all three difficulty levels...
...using nothing but green towers.
I was puzzled by some of the high cash flow I was seeing, and I think the gold rewards aren't working as intended.
Specifically, I think kills by green towers yield twice as much gold as they should. If I buy two red towers and go through the first wave, I get 4 gold per creep and finish with 70 gold.
But if I buy two green towers, it displays "+4" for each creep, but I actually get +8 and finish the wave with 110 gold!
I've looked at your source code for
register_damage(). I can't see a reason why this is happening, but maybe someone else can.
