1. Holiday Special :: All games $5 off!

From now until the end of December, all Lexaloffle games cost $5 less. So -- Neko Puzzle is $9.95, and Chocolate Castle, Zen Puzzle Garden and Jasper's Journeys are all $14.95. The standard 20% discount for buying 2 or more games still applies.

2. Jasper's Journeys Update

Jasper's Journeys has had a couple of big updates recently. If you are a registered user, grab the latest version from the upgrades page. Recent changes:

Easy Mode: Get extra protection from treasure.
Hard Mode: Play with tougher monsters!
Extra Save Game Slots
Customisable Keys
Mac OS X: Universal Binaries
Save Anywhere Cheat

3. Games in Development

Lexaloffle has several new games in development. They won't be out until later next year, but I hope you'll enjoy a peek at what's coming up:

:: Conflux

Conflux is an ecological action game. The player takes control of a powerful peacock-like creature whose task is to manage an ecosystem of increasing complexity. Every now and then a new species is added to the mix, and it's up to you to maintain the balance.

:: Mega Panda

Mega Panda is a puzzle game in the same format as CC and ZPG -- it has a set of hand-designed puzzles and an editor. The player can scoop up and merge a few pandas to produce a single, larger panda. The goal is to do this until there is only one, very large 'Mega Panda' remaining.

4. Puzzle Spotlight

Here's a selection of Zen Puzzle Garden and Chocolate Castle puzzles taken from the BBS. To play them, click on the image to open the puzzle file. Then select everything (e.g. Ctrl-A) and paste into the game using OPEN -> OPEN FROM CLIPBOARD.
