Detecting collision

Hi. i found that code https://mboffin.itch.io/pico8-overlap
that checks for overlap.

But my initial thought was in term of sprites.
Since we can define sprites is there a simpler way to detect
when one sprite touched or overlapped another?

Although i like voxatron the massive splore makes me dizzy.
I checked .lexaloffle/Voxatron/ in my linux box but i find only pngs.

How can i remove carts ?

I like to play with my kid but the cartridges are too many. How can i remove a cartridge?
Also if the available cart list gets auto-updated can i change that?

Why SFX command wont work alone?

Why if i put a:
PSET(...)
command alone the program will run.
but if i put a :
SFX(0)
command alone i wont hear a thing ? (i have made the '0' sfx in sfx editor)
