Been working on this on and off for a while, wanted to actually upload some version of it and call it 'done'. It's a sort of roguelike where you have to collect coins and knives and hearts, while avoiding broken hearts. Mostly put together to test out roguelike movement, room linking, etc.

Z to start, arrows move.

Seems like a good framework, but it needs a challenge!

Very nice mechanics. Do you plan to make rooms become harder to pass gradually?

An interesting idea. So it's a puzzle game at heart that has to be played like a roguelike?
You have a good idea in your hands IMHO, all you need is some more polish, some nice SFX and music... maybe you could let the user choose one from some different classes at the beginning, like warrior, mage and priest; you could balance the classes with some advantages and some disadvantages...

@cheepicus @girobusan: Thank you for your feedback, apologies for the late response. Unfortunately there seems to be no way to get notified of comments here, and I usually stop checking the thread manually quite quickly. Short answer yes it still needs difficulty, long answer starts with 'I'm not sure what kind of difficulty I want to add, I could try these...'

@Cesco: Kind of! That's maybe a better description of it than I've written so far. :D I like to hope it's interesting, but typically I flit from one thing to another so some games really don't get the love they deserve. Classes sound like an interesting option, thanks for the thoughts.

@Neko250 As above, sorry I didn't see this! No notifications for comments here. :( Thanks for playing it enough to roll over the counter though! Well done. Glad you enjoyed it. :)
