I'm having the same problem on OS X Mountain Lion, Voxatron 0.2.1, and a USB Xbox 360 controller. All other apps I've tried recognize the controller just fine, but not Voxatron. This makes me sad.

I'm using the Xbox 360 controller driver from http://tattiebogle.net/index.php/ProjectRoot/Xbox360Controller/OsxDriver which from what I understand is the best driver for OS X available.

I should clarify: Voxatron seems to recognize that the controller exists, but only insofar as I can go up and down on the menus. When I go to configure the controller, Voxatron will not recognize any button presses or control stick axes.

Hrm.. this is weird. A lot of games use SDL, so surely it's something particular to Voxatron.

I uploaded an updated version of the joystick test for osx users here:

lexaloffle_joystick_test_osx.zip

It records the raw SDL joystick events so hopefully I can see why its working for default menu buttons (up/down), but not when listening for custom button presses.

Please give it a run and email the results to joseph at lexaloffle dot com
Thanks!
