BBS Changes

Hello everyone,

I've noticed today that the BBS appears to have undergone a few changes.  Does anyone have a full changelog they can list here?  It'd be interesting to know all of the new features.

I don't see any changes here. Can you say which are noticeable?

I'm halfway through adding a couple of things. I'll post a list when it's finished. Today I added a new landing page with an overview of blog/bbs activity, new formatting for the blog, and the footer at the bottom of each page.

The two important features that are coming are My Games page integrated with Humble Bundle's store, and the ability to view a user's BBS posts or levels (instead of just their blog posts). The second one will be able to be used to search for threads you've started or commented on that have since received other replies.

Also check the Voxatron page for a FAQ and Development Status (accessible from the links at the top).

Oh, there's a roadmap. Things I've found noteworthy:

v0.1.8
Search : Search for levels by various criteria
Scores : Share high scores online
Favourites : View/Playlist other users's favourites

Search is essential. Highscores will introduce reasons to continue playing. View other people's favorites will be very fun once Voxatron reaches critical mass and levels start appearing in tons. Some people inherently have better taste than others, political correctness be damned. If I play a very fun level I'd like to play the creator (may have) took inspiration from.

v0.2.0
New Monsters: Barrel of Doom, Sprinter, Lobber, Turret
Exporting / Importing .obj, .mtl, .pov, .png files
Sounds a lot like the ideas I posted in the "Gameplay ideas" thread. The ability to import, not just export can result in exciting stuff. People coding external random map generators. 0.2 will also have other new game elements which should breathe life into the game. We should see an influx of new levels. At the moment it sometimes gets VERY predictable, you see snails appear - OK, there will be "tripods" in a few seconds.

And 0.3 sounds just candid.
